Summer Session 2010 starts the week of May 30, 2010 except for Sunday and Monday teams.  These teams will start week 1 summer session on 6/6 & 6/7.

The APA of New Mexico will determine which Tier your team is placed and inform the team captains which tournament dates applies to teams.

Sign-up begins at 9:00 am and tables are open for practice at that time.
Play begins at 10:00 am.
Cost for entry $20 per event and a one-time fee of $10 for the Grand Prix Pool Tour Pass.
Tournaments are double eliminations and all APA 8-Ball rules apply.  Participants must be on a current APA teams and current with all league fees.  Players must have at least 10 APA league scores.  You must be present to be considered having a match played to earn GP points.  Players that only play 9-Ball can play, but at their closest 8-Ball skill level (at tournament directors discretion).  The early matches are set up to play similar handicaps/skill levels.  Patches are awarded for 8-on-Break and Break-n-Run.

Points are awarded throughout the year at each event toward year end standing and participation in the year end finals.  Players must participate in at least seven GP events during the tour year to qualify for the year end finals.

The top eight ranked qualified player at the end of the tour year recieve cash paybacks using the APA Grand Prix Tour distribution chart as follows:
1st - 30%
2nd - 22%
3rd - 15%
4th - 10%
5th - 6th - 6.5%
7th - 8th - 5%

Any additional monies added by sponsors are to be distributed per the above chart.
No prizes are 100% guaranteed.  The GP Tournament director is solely responsible for the conduct and control over the Grand Prix and their decisions on payout and skill levels are final. 

The Grand Prix is operated by APA League Members for APA League Members and is not part of the APA of New Mexico nor employed by the APA of New Mexico.
